I worked on a computer vision solution concerning the recognition and tracking of specialised personnel in a private area. The tools that I used are purely open source and cover the most modern algorithms and libraries in the field.

TechQuartier, Impact Challenge Participant - Best Technical Implementation Winner

March 2021 - April 2021

With my team we developed an MVP, from scratch, for analysis and management of data from waste collection. I dealt with both the business part and the software development of the platform by applying the most modern machine learning and data analytics techniques. We won the Best Technical Implementation prize money.

Google, Training Camp

September 2020

My team won a Kaggle competition organized by a Google Researcher for the course participans. We built in Python our own image search engine based on Neural Network. Specific techniques that we used and touched: Image representation with convolutional neural networks (CNNs), building recurrent neural networks with LSTM and GRU units, generating natural language image descriptions (image captioning) and representing words and sentences with vector embeddings (Word2Vec, GloVe, and BERT).

Poste Italiane, Training Camp

July 2020

Thanks to Poste Italiane we analyzed lots of big data to imagine and propose an innovatve solution in the wide field of Smart City. My team did an analysis of the economic feasibility and the principal service costs based on our main idea about Poste Italiane Smart building. We created an business model Canvas supported by a costs/revenues analysis for these technological structures.

Facebook, project for Data Mining for Business and Technology

March 2020 to April 2020

I worked with a Facebook Resercher to improve Lama library a "probe for analyzing the factual and commonsense knowledge contained in pretrained language models" . It was a opportunity to enhance and learn more about Natural Language Processing (BERT, ElMo, RoBERTa, and Transformer) and Neural Networks techniques.
